Croisière sur la Baltique

Bonjour à tous,

Nous ferons le circuit de la Baltique en juin prochain et nous cherchons de l’information pour la visite de St-Petersburg. Nous sommes 4 personnes.

Il semble que pour cette visite il est préférable de réserver à l’avance, il est question de visa d’entrée pour la Russi.

Est-ce que vous avez des suggestions à nous faire :

Tour avec Celebrity??? il semble très dispendieux ;

Tour avec une agence locale, réservé à l’avance?? Tour en français?? Tour pour 4 personnes?? Peut-on demander de se joindre à un groupe organisé par l’agence.

Pour ceux qui ont cette expérience, SVP éclairez-nous

Bonjour,

nous avons fait la Baltique en mai 2012. Pour St-Petersburg, nous avons pris 2 excursions avec Celebrity soit: le tour de ville et la visite du musé l'Hermitage. Nous ne voulions pas prendre des excursions de plus de 3 ou 4 heures. Avec les excursions de Celebrity, le visa est compris dans le prix. C'est un visa de groupe. Nous avons été très satisfaits des excursions.

On peut réserver avec des firmes privées mais faut s'assurer que le visa est fourni, sinon vous devez faire une demande de visa avant.

Faire attention pour le nombre de sorties. Pour passer aux douanes, vous devez remplir un formulaire en 2 copies. Généralement, le bateau est au port 2 jours. Nous avons eu connaissance de gens qui sont sortis la première journée, qui sont revenus au bateau et qui sont ressortis le soir pour un spectacle. Le lendemain, ils avaient une autre excursion et ils ont été refusés aux douanes car ils étaient sortis 2 fois déjà. Je ne sais pas si c'est une pratique courante mais vaut mieux s'informer.

7.30 - 8.00am Passing the Passport control. You need to have the following documents with You: Passport, Copy of Your Passport information list, Tour ticket (blanket visa).
8.00 am Meeting. Your personal guide and driver will meet You right next to the passport control with the sign: Anastasia Travel Company ……..
8.00 - 9.00am City Tour. UNESCO recognized Saint-Petersburg as one of the 10 most beautiful cities in the world. You'll be able to enjoy the combination of magnificent architecture with strict planning of its broad streets, squares, parks, gardens, canals and museums of great rarity. It could be rightly called an open-air museum. In order to save time and avoid traffic jams Your city tour will be split into several parts and will last during all Your stay in St.Petersburg: You'll visit the St.Nickolas Cathedral, take photos next to the Bronze Horseman (Monument to Peter the Great), enjoy the Panoramic view of the Neva river, the Admiralty, (If You have any special requests about must sees. 9.00 am Departure for the Tsarskoye Selo (Tzars' Village)
10.00 - 12.00pm Tsarskoye Selo tour (City of Pushkin). This is one of the Tzars' Residences, situated in the suburbs of St.Petersburg. During the tour You'll be able to see the magnificent interiors of the Catherine's Palace, including the fascinating Amber room, known as the 8th miracle in the world. 1.00 - 3.00 pm Peterhoff tour (or Petrodvorets). PARK TOUR. This city of outstanding parks, marvelous cascades and enumerous founatins is a former summer Residence of Russian emperors. 3.15 - 4.30 pm Transfer to the downtown with the metro tour on the way. Metro trip. Stalin said, that Russian tzars used to built Palaces for themselves, while Communists build palaces for people. And it is really so, St. Petersburg metro stations resemble more palace interiors, than regular subway tunnels. The interiors are decorated with mosaics, marble, crystals and outstanding chandaliers. It was built to protect the city from the possible Swedish attacks, however, it was never used for the military purposes and very soon was converted into the political prison. Our tour rates are fixed in Rubles. One month before Your actual arrival we will fix the rates in currency that is convenient for You (US Dollars, Euro). All currencies (Euro, USD, Rubles) are accepted for payment. According to the Russian banking regulation old or damaged banknotes are not accepted. This is the reason why we won’t be able to accept them either. New banknotes are highly appreciated. Thank You for understanding.

All the payments can be made during the last touring day by cash or credit card (if You pay with a credit card 3% is added for banking services).

LUNCH OPTIONS
We know that meals preferences can differ and therefore want to give YOU complete flexibility in choosing the optional meal plan. The following options are available:

• Play-by-ear: Eat in any city bistro or cafe along the tour route (seating subject to availability)
• Pre-arranged lunch: YOU reserve seats and certain menu in recommended restaurants in advance. This option helps YOU to save much time by having lunches already served when YOU arrive in a restaurant.
• Lunch boxes might be provided by the ship or we can arrange them for You.

PHOTO PERMITS
Some museums require extra ticket for taking pictures inside. In order to save time for the tour and avoid lines for buying these permits we would highly recommend You to book them in advance. The total cost of all the needed photo tickets is 15 USD for one camera. It will give You opportunity to take as many pictures as You wish in all the museums by one camera. It is prohibited to take pictures with flashes in some museums. Before making the decision of purchasing the photo permit, please, make sure that You can turn off flash at Your camera.

EARLY ENTRANCES

You are welcome with the early admissions to the Hermitage and Catherine’s Palace.
There are advantages and disadvantages.
ADVANTAGES
• You are starting the touring day earlier, so save time for other tours and visits
• It might be less crowded than during the regular entrance, however nobody can guarantee You empty museum (sometimes it is as crowded as during the regular time)
DISADVANTAGES
• You pay double price for the tour
• In the Hermitage during the early entrance there is only a certain way You can go (the museum doesn’t open the whole museum for the tour), so some of the halls will be opened only at 10.30 (official opening time of the museum)
• Early entrance might be confirmed only one month before the tour

TIPPING will be highly appreciated by Your personal guide and driver, however always remains at Your option.
PRIVATE TOUR. All tours are completely private. You'll get Your personal experienced tour guide, professional driver and private comfortable vehicle for the entire duration of Your tour. You will not have to join any tourist groups, unless You specifically require sharing Your trip and other people agree with this option.

GUIDE. You'll be accompanied by the professional full-licensed tour guide (speaking the requested language) at all times. She/he will offer both outside and inside tours.

VEHICLE. You'll be provided with the comfortable vehicle with air-conditioning systems and all safety features in a place.

CHILDREN up to 4 years old join the tour for free (children car seats up to the request), children up to 12 years old and students (having ISIC) pay a discounted price.

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE OF BOOKING THE TOUR?

If You like the offered itinerary and ready to reserve the tour with ANASTASIA Travel Company just send an e-mail in which in any form You say that You are ready to book the tour.

As soon as we receive this booking request we confirm the booking of Your tour by e-mail and start to make all the needed arrangements for Your tour. THE TOUR IS NOT BOOKED UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THE BOOKING CONFIRMATION FROM ANASTASIA TRAVEL COMPANY.

We will send You the form to fill in. This is the passport information that we will need to provide the visa-free disembarking. We need this information one week before Your arrival the latest.
